Acoustik Musik, Ltd. prides itself on customer service. You will always have the opportunity to communicate with us from the start of the project through to its completion. We have been in business since 1995, and have worked with major labels and artists as well as developing artists and privately funded projects. Our dedicated mastering studio and 40+ years of professional audio experience ensure your music receives the attention and care it deserves.

Thomas W. Bethel, our managing director and principal mastering engineer was raised in Parma Heights, OH. After serving in the United States Army, as a broadcast specialist, he made up his mind to pursue his love of recorded sound. Within a year of leaving the service he landed a job as Director of Audio Services and Concert Sound at Oberlin College, where he stayed for 26 years.

While at Oberlin, Tom was responsible for the expansion of the Conservatory Audio Department. He grew it from a small-scale and seldom used department, to a full time recording studio with a staff of 35 students.

In 1995, Tom opened up his own mastering studio in Oberlin, OH to further pursue his dream. In 2015, Acoustik Musik, Ltd. will celebrate its 20th anniversary of delivering high-quality audio mastering to everyone from local bands to international artists.

Tom is also a voting member of the Audio Engineering Society (AES) and the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS). In his free time he enjoys photography, graphics and traveling.

Gehring Miller is a Chicago-born musician, engineer, and producer. His musical experiences as a teenager led to the pursuit of a degree from Columbia College Chicago in Audio Design And Production. Since graduating in 2010, he has engineered and produced dozens of releases ranging from lo-fi acoustic albums to orchestral scores for short films. When he's not working in the realms of audio and music, he enjoys reading, writing, scenic walks, and stimulating conversation.

Thomas Kreek is a physics major with an avid interest in electronics and audio. At Accoustik Musik he acts as business manager. He is an entrepreneur in his own right and is involved with a company that is trying to bring digital education tools to developing countries. He designed and coded this website and completely redid our EBay store. If you call about a problem with billing or scheduling Thomas will usually be the one to answer your questions. In his free time he is an avid cyclist and hiker.
